The shuttle ride was interesting, though Jeknai decided she didn't want to repeat it too often. Something about the motion or the artificial gravity gave her a headache, and she didn't enjoy that. Tenrak seemed to have no problems, and tried to keep her mind off the headache with tales of his younger days, when he and her grandmother used to travel around the plains, meeting other clans. The ploy mostly worked, and once they arrived on Avengaea, her headache was quickly forgotten. They made their way to Sanctuary, where the Bonding Project was based. After a brief bit of exploration, Jelnai signed herself up as a potential novo. She was given a schedule of classes that many of the kits were taking and encouraged to join any of the classes that interested her. It would be a good way to meet kits who shared interests, as well as give her a better understanding of how things worked on Avengaea. One of the assistants also gave Tenrak a list of sites and events that might be of interest to a non-candidate family member. Jelnai got settled into the dorms, and prepared to make new friends and learn whatever she could about their world and way of life. She made sure to spend a little bit of time with her grandfather, at least once a week, though he was enjoying exploring the city, and surrounding areas. This may be his only trip offworld, he told her, and he wanted to make the most of it! Happy he was not in any hurry to leave, Jelnai focused on learning and making friends.
